Level Offer (“we,” “us”), a service of 1598387 B.C. Ltd., buys homes directly from owners. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you request a cash offer, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you request an offer through this site, we collect:
- Contact details you give us — your name, phone number, and/or email address.
- Property details you give us — the address, property type, approximate size and condition, your timeline, and any notes you add.
- Consent record — the exact consent wording shown to you, whether you ticked the optional updates box, and the date and time. We keep this so we can honour your choices and demonstrate we did.
- Technical details collected automatically with your submission — your IP address, browser/user-agent, the page URL, and any advertising campaign tags (e.g. how you reached us). We use these to prevent spam and understand which ads work.
Why we collect it
- To review your property and prepare a cash offer.
- To contact you about that offer, by the method you provided (phone, text, or email).
- To keep a record of your consent and to comply with Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL).
- To protect the site from spam and abuse, and to measure our advertising.
How we contact you, and your consent
Requesting an offer is a direct inquiry to us. Under CASL, that inquiry lets us follow up with you about your request for up to six months. If you also tick the optional box, you’re giving us express consent to send occasional updates until you tell us to stop. You can withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time — every message we send includes how, and we’ll act on it promptly. To opt out directly, email hello@leveloffer.ca.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to do what you asked — for example, with service providers who help us operate (such as hosting or, if a deal proceeds, the lawyer or title company handling the closing) — and only to the extent required. If we put your property under contract, we may share property details — and, at assignment, contract details — with prospective investor-buyers as part of completing the purchase; your contact information is shared only as needed to close. We may disclose information if required by law.
Address lookup & processing outside Canada
If you use the address suggestions on our form, the address you type is sent to a third-party address-lookup provider to help you complete the field accurately. Only the address text is sent — none of your other details. This provider may process that data on servers outside Canada, where it could be subject to the laws of another country. We use this only to make the form easier to fill in.
How long we keep it
We keep your inquiry and consent record for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, then we dispose of it securely.
How we protect it
Your submission is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored on access-controlled systems. Consent records are kept as an immutable audit trail.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to be contacted. Email hello@leveloffer.ca and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you have an unresolved concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
